On May 30, 2008, Hotel Okura Co., Ltd. and The Royal Hotel, Ltd. have announced the establishment of the joint venture company to integrate their marketing and sales promotion operations in the accommodation business area. The new company is established to achieve following points:

1. Alliance for the reciprocal reservation, loyalty programs and rewarding points, and improvement of service usability for the guests of both companies
2. Provide services such as marketing, public relations and sales support and strengthen the relationship with global business partners
3. Business consignment from two parent companies as well as enhancing and expanding global network through acquisition of new member hotels

Terms and conditions for Okura Club International membership programs will be revised upon the establishment of the new company.
